Well, here I am in jail once more- as a guard a hasten to add.

Here in our little slice of Paradise, ordinary folks without criminal records can serve as "on call" jail guards. I get to perform this civic duty tonight and for the next two nights, while still working at the forest service in the daytime.

For a change of pace I get to work twelve hours on Thursday evening/Friday morning at the power plant. By then I'll be tempted to just turn off the lights so that all of here can get some sleep. Of course, this time of year here, that probably means that the pipes will freeze and the furnaces will go out.

But, let me stress, I'm not bitter! If I ever get some medical bills completely paid off, maybe I can take some time off without being consumed with guilt.
